Daria is looking for Moon Pearl Pollen from a flower which blooms somewhere in the Holy College. It is said that if you collect the pollen after sunrise, it dies from lack of moonlight.

※ This quest is available again after midnight (server time) every day unless you have already completed the quest that day.
Is it because I used something other than Moon Pearl?

I heard there are herbs called Moon Pearl around the college.
It's said that they have a special power because they collect moonlight at night.
However, if they don't get enough moonlight, the flower will wither.
At midday, the energy of the Moon disappears.

if I get Moon Pearl Pollen and make an elixir with it.

You have to collect it in the early morning, when it still has moonlight inside.

When I did this quest the Moon Pearl flowers were not pickable until 4:45 AM in game. I had waited from 12AM next to them to see if they would bloom. When I went back to check at 5:18 AM they were no longer interact-able. The window to obtain these seems to be very small.

You can pick these only between 4:45 AM and 5:00 AM after that you can't interact with them.

Confirmed, I got the quest at 04:45am and was able to pick the item up.
