– Description:
Northwestern Calpheon was once a topic of interest due to the Ashen Plague that stuck after the unknown explosion, which was known to make people's mind and body rot. The government of Calpheon announced that the explosion was Heidel's doing, as they were at war at the time, however a few of the citizens refused to believe their statement. This was true for most of the people residing in Port Epheria, which borders the northwestern region, as they saw the Blackstar fall with their own two eyes.

Northwestern Calpheon was completely sealed off after the Ashen Plague spread all the way to the refugee camp.
The infected lost their minds and began to attack the villagers, which is how the Abandoned Land of today came to be. Some argue that it was the Elionian priests who stopped the plague from spreading to the capital.

Before the disaster, there was a colossal ancient temple, which no one knows why or how it was built, and people settled down near it to form a quiet but peaceful village. However, they had such a small prescence that nobody cared for them when the disaster struck. After the catastrophe, the people of Calpheon began to call the nameless mountain range that runs between Calpheon and the Northwest, the Mountain of Sanctity.
