I confirm. Killing the boss, then abandon the quest and killing again the boss will NO longer give the knowledge.

Actually no, I've done that quest several times and I still don't have the knowledge.

Can be acquired at annolisa Rosie, for 500 amity, fairly easy to get by gifting her feather. Doin it multiple time can get you a S grade
