- Description: Tergen, a researcher of the Dreadwinter Tree, knows all there is to know about the trees in the local area. With a lumberjack father and a mother who worked as a charcoal burner at the Charbonneau Charcoal Workshop, Tergen learned a great deal of knowledge about trees at a very young age, and can today identify an oak from a birch simply by looking at a broken branch. It was this knowledge that brought him to the immediate attention of the Khan when the Winter Trees started growing in number on the mountain.
