The leader of the slave rebellion who escaped from O'draxxia, Limbaugh, settled smack in the middle of Thornwood Forest, which is seething with Fallen Ones.

Usually slaves of the capital would flee to the Walk of the Banished near Olun's Valley where the Ahib's presence is still small. However, Limbaugh and his followers chose the Thornwood Forest, infamous for frequent sightings of the Fallen Ones, for if they were caught in the Walk of the Banished, the slaves faced a punishment so terrible beyond imagination, yet the Fallen Ones in Thornwood Forest could offer them a clean death instead.

Above all, Limbaugh believed this was the road to true freedom due the writings of the book he coincidentally picked up from Cantarnia Garden. In it was written that Thornwood Forest was used as an escape route by nobles, and believed the information about the secret route to be reliable. At first, he planned to wait for the opportune moment to leave the forest right away. Yet, after recently meeting with the former-Ahib and Bahitram helper Penella, Limbaugh vowed to be the leader to all suffering human slaves until he would meet his fate.
