- Description: Hope that Cannot be Lost Leaving behind the screams of my companions, and disguised as a human, I walked among them, pretending to serve their disgusting demon of a god. Fortunately, I was able to find the new light there. Not Sylvia, who disregarded our desperate prayers, but an ancient god, Godr-Ayed, the great traces. Based on the elusive records found with bated breath, I was able to meet a group of magicians known as the Deneve. They were secretly conducting research on ancient magic and alchemy. I shared my own skills in magic and alchemy I had honed by myself, and was able to gain their attention. After a few conversations, their suspicions and wariness towards me subsided, and I soon joined their ranks as one of the Deneve to research in ancient magic. | |

To complete this quest you have to finish Caphras' Record, Book 1, Chapter 3 first. In that chapter you'll get the Ancient Magic Tome from Kiyak.
With Ancient Magic Tome in your possession go and interact with Forbidden Books in Tarif.
After the dialog you have to kill a few blue lights appearing in the room. If you do so successfully Caphras' Memory, will spawn in the room. Talk to it to finish this chapter.
P.S. If you fail to kill the blue lights, you can get the Ancient Magic Tome again from the Black Spirit for 50 Energy.
With Ancient Magic Tome in your possession go and interact with Forbidden Books in Tarif.
