- Description: February 20 I met my goal of heading to the forest in the west. I spent some time here in the Treant Forest with hopes of meeting that Ganelle again, but she was nowhere to be seen. Perhaps our paths will cross again sometime in the future. My next destination is a small village to the east of a place where I met a little boy. Alustin mentioned that rather suspicious things have been happening there. Forbidden practices concerning the summoning of the dead from a fallen nation and the likes... Alustin warned that I should set aside my dangerous curiosities and told me to simply move on. The thing is... I cannot forgo the adventurer within. I cannot help but be drawn to danger and words of caution. Alustin's words fall on deaf ears to someone such as myself. I soon find myself heading to my original destination at a brisk pace to make up for lost time. A thick fog covering the land makes it difficult to see where I'm headed, but I can slowly begin to see a field full of corpses mutilated beyond recognition amidst the haze. Endless flocks of crows drawn to the putrid smell of death have already seemed to have found a new home. | |
