Show/hide full quest's text I already heard about the situation. Extracting the energy from the claws, you say... Destroying the Khalk's claw to dismantle it is not a difficult task. However, things are a bit more complicated since the Ahib were behind it, and since it was branded. There is a powerful spell on it, which requires more than the usual effort.
