Show/hide full quest's text I've received word of a strange phenomenon occurring in Calpheon. The ashen skies beneath the Black Sun... turn bruised and spit out blood... What does this mean? It means that the situation is quite serious, indeed. Is Hadum's corruption nearly complete!? Head out immediately and search all corners of Calpheon for the cause. We cannot let all our efforts up to this point have been conducted in vain! This has all happened much too fast than anticipated... Is Hadum's corruption nearly complete!? This is... I don't believe it... Is it just as we predicted... Those damn Shadow Knights! What did they do now?

took me ~2 hours until Ogre (the "field boss" that drops quest item) spawned here

The Cyclops boss spawned after 90 mins of grinding there for me. I defeated it, but that does not complete the quest or finish a part of it, which is sort of misleading. You get the "Tattered Shadow" items from it and you need to take it to the NPC Nucamira and chat with her to give it to her, which completes the quest.
