Not every adventure log captures the astonishing feats of a renowned adventurer. Not every adventure log tells tales of legendary journeys, epic treasure hunts, or countless victories in battle. Sometimes, the best adventure logs simply narrate the story of the adventure itself.

They speak of friends met along the journey, the small moments of shared memories, the joys and sorrows, and the victories and defeats.

This is the story of an adventurer who struggled with a lack of confidence, finding it difficult to even start a conversation with new people.

It's about how this adventurer, who wandered alone without any expectations or purpose, finally found a place to call "home."

A space where one can escape reality and truly feel safe, a place to meet new friends and create wonderful memories. This is my Black Desert adventure log. It's my journey and my life.

The year 2024 stands out as perhaps the most significant, if not the best, memory for me. It's all thanks to the memories of the Heidel Ball this year. Fortunately, I was invited to the offline event and got to attend the ball held in the French village of Beynac, which served as the real-life backdrop for Heidel.

I had the chance to hear major Black Desert news firsthand and even enjoyed minigames while walking the streets of Heidel. I also had conversations with other adventurers, GMs, and CMs. All these memories are still cherished deeply in my heart.

However, that joy was short-lived. My precious furry friend, "Lara," who had been with me for 17 years, passed away just two weeks after the Heidel Ball.

Though I expected that the day would come due to her age, I wasn't prepared for it at all. It was a grief I couldn't avoid, and I spent days crying and mourning.

Yet, thanks to Black Desert, my friends, other adventurers in the game, and some GMs and CMs, I was able to find my smile again. To remember "Lara," I named my Tier 5 pet "Lara" so she could always accompany me on my adventures.

Let's set aside the sad stories and return to happier ones. This year, I finally succeeded in enhancing both my Blackstar Longsword and Shield to PEN (V) grade! And they both reached that level on the same day!

In addition to that, I participated in numerous events this year. I took part in screenshot contests, in-game events, community events, and even caught some official streaming broadcasts.

Honestly, winning or losing in events wasn't that important to me. The value lay in participating and enjoying the process, which held more significance than any event reward for me.

Though 2024 is drawing to a close, my adventure is far from over.
