The girl, needless to say, also took up arms, gradually ascending the ranks to become the next-in-line as leader of the order.

A month after the war concluded, the girl achieved her dreams of becoming the general of the order. She was both the youngest and the first Maehwa to assume leadership in the order's history. Once her appointment ceremony was over, she entered the deepest cave in the valley to uncover the "secret" of the order, which was one of the reasons she had worked so hard to become the new general. Within the cave, she found an old kerispear and a secret text regarding the special art of the order.

She stayed within the cave for a year, training in the art, and yet, no sign of Hawol's flames appeared on the girl's kerispear. In fact, her kerispear skills paled in comparison to her blade techniques. However, as it was her lifelong dream, she dared not give up and kept on training. Still her kerispear remained dormant, and she soon began to suffer from nightmares. Fallen sisters and subordinates of the order, the Chungwol who had stood in her path, and the countless civilians who were lost in the war began to haunt her, night after night.
