- Description: Shanti's natural ability to calm and befriend animals made him the obvious choice when it came to appointing a stable keeper at Black Lake Encampment. Shanti has possessed this gift from childhood, and can still recall how, when he'd run around the Zvier Highlands as a child, all manners of creatures and critters such as butterflies, birds, squirrels, and rabbits, would come and gather around him as he played. As such, many rightly assumed that Shanti would grow up to be a stable keeper of Black Lake Encampment, especially owing to his ability to identify the suffering of an animal just by laying a hand upon them. Now, regardless of how skittish new horses brought to the Black Lake Encampment are, Shanti is always able to soothe them and help them settle into their new home.
