If his urge reaches its peak, even Vaha might not be able to resist. Yolu, who has set her heart on Vaha, certainly won't miss the chance given our wavering relationship.

Yolu needed a reason to reach out more directly to Vaha. Therefore... I decided to lay a low hanging fruit just for Yolu. I engraved a phrase on a dagger and placed it where Yolu's eye would catch it.

"My love, Vaha. With the Goddess of Darkness' permission, our paradise will be complete."

Knowing that I would never satisfy Vaha's longing, Yolu would surely try to fill that void. As expected, the next day Yolu approached me and asked about the wound on my cheek.

"That wound on your cheek... Did Vaha do that? Why does he keep doing this even when you don't want him to? And why do you put up with it?"
"Because I need Vaha."
"Wake up. That goddess you serve... she's not right."

I was unable to hide my expression at Yolu's insulting words. I stared blankly ahead, not feeling the need to respond. And as anticipated, Yolu took the dagger and left.
