- Description: The king visited Gyotaejeon Hall and discovered a cursed scroll and poisoned persimmons. The Royal Investigation Bureau interrogated the court ladies and revealed that Queen Lee intended to curse Lady Sukbin Seo. The Bureau tried to uncover the relationship between the Imoogi of Donghae Province and the deposed Queen Lee but failed to find conclusive evidence. Despite opposition from ministers, the King, with the consent of the Queen Dowager, deposed the queen and sentenced her to death. The execution of the deposed Queen Lee was specially carried out by the Second Deputy Minister Seonu Myeongdeok, accompanied by the Bureau. Additionally, those associated with the deposed Queen Lee were suspected of flattering the crown prince and conspiring for future gains.
