- Description: Val Marun, the leader of the Shakhtar Wilds people, holds a negative view of the Shen Merchant Guild that hail from Mediah. Having grown up hearing of the mission to protect the sacred land from his ancestors, he was taken aback by the guild's sudden takeover of Muzgar and their proposition to buy the land of the Wilds. However, some of the people of the barrens were fascinated by the glittering gold and goods the merchant guild had, and kept pestering Val Marun. And it was more than just a few of them. The merchant guild requested to at least have their flag hung in the wilds, and Val Marun, left with no other choice, acquiesced and allowed the flag of Mediah to be hung.
