When the Mountain Deity King ascended with the Gods of Wind, Rain, and Clouds, his followers divided into three schools, each following the ideals of the three gods.

The descendants of the God of Wind, who represents order, established the Woodo school and sought enlightenment through cultivating the mind.
The descendants of the God of Rain, who represents knowledge, established the Jwado school and sought enlightenment through communing with the gods.
The descendants of the God of Clouds, who represents force, established the Sangdo school and sought enlightenment through studying the blade.

Go Dahn was the only one to master all three ways, and through enlightenment he became a mountain deity.
However, it is difficult for most to reach enlightenment on even a single path. He intended for each school to focus solely on the path they have chosen, and for them to help each other once they have reached their enlightenment.
