Go Dahn defeated the Dark Bonghwang of Mt. Ahshi with the Iron Birch Bow, one of the Three Heavenly Emblems. As the Dark Bonghwang rose high into the vast skies to engulf the world in flames, Go Dahn readied his bow, and the arrow flew fiercely to its target.

The Dark Bonghwang was ready to seize all light for his own. But when the arrow from the Iron Birch Bow hit him, he plummeted to the ground, and the dark clouds over Mt. Ahshi fell like black metal. Their thundering descent shook the sky and earth.

But Go Dahn did not waver. He stood firm on this land, and proclaimed that its morning light will never faint.
