- Description: This fish has a long, flat body with a bulging belly. It grows to be larger than the slender variety of molgae. It has a large mouth, and the mouth nearly touches the eyes. At the ends of its mouth are a pair of barbels. Its ventral fins are nearly identical to its dorsal fins, small and triangular in shape. They can be found in slow-flowing rivers, lakes, and swamps.
