The girl waited without end, gazing longingly at the distant horizon.

A doll named "Lara" was discarded by its owner, floated about the waters until ending up on some nameless isle. Maybe the abyss had decided to take in its lonely and sorrow-filled heart? The doll soon adopted the appearance of a young girl, while losing all memories of her former playmate, only to be found gazing off into the distance, waiting for that "someone" to return.
One day, a new "friend" arrived on the isle who slowly came to open up the doll's previously closed-up heart. Lara wished to express her thanks, but was always of so few words. Remembering what her past "someone" has once uttered, she decided to recite those words herself

"Ever since you've arrived, things have gone so smoothly. I'm so lucky to have met you."

Had her new friend finally softened her once hardened heart? By the time she was able to leave the isle, she reverted back to the form of a doll, a perfect size for anyone's pocket. They say you can still sense its anticipation for journeys ahead.
