Following the echo that split the silence to the world's end.

The wanderer who lost everyone to war settled their affairs and began a journey towards the ends of the earth together with an old hand who had accompanied them since childhood...
At their journey's end, the wanderer hoped to find the sun, the object of their dreams and from books acquired from neighboring towns. In search of the sun beyond the horizon, the two began to row.
When the moon rose, the two would catch and share the fish together, while sometimes reciting poetry in the refreshing winds...

Then one day, the wanderer declared that they had found the sun, and dived into the sea along with their horse. The old hand simply blinked at the sight of the wanderer swimming deeper and deeper into the sea. The wandered would never return.

The cat waits for the wanderer. Trying to watch over whatever warmth remained from where the wanderer used to sit, the cat cries out whenever it draws close to the wanderer's final parting spot.

Whether it was because it missed the wanderer, or didn't want another to meet a similar fate, the cat would follow closely behind any new wanderers it encountered. The cat sought to guide the wanderer's path by sticking close while out of sight.
