When Marumin returned to the Mountain of Endless Winter, she brought with her one of the two golden keys, that which was held by King Torme. She did so because of Gardaka's hidden prophecy, divulged in secret to King Torme. "When the two keys are combined, the Doors of Alyaelli will open and scatter crimson ashes...his descendants will open the doors of hell themselves at the end of a bloody battle."
