- Description:
Llamas in Drieghan are very curious creatures, but also weary of people. The Star-loving Llama in particular is very cautious, and will stay hidden during the day only to emerge at night to climb to the mountain tops and marvel at the night sky.

So... I don't have a lot of experience with the llama, only started doing rare hunting five days ago, but I've got him twice in that time and the last time was today and he dropped S knowledge (first time he dropped no knowledge at all...) which means I'm done here because I'm not going for the 5 kills and 30 kills titles (now I'm only missing the deer which I haven't tried for yet).

If you're like me you might have gone online and read on tips to get him. Don't believe people who tell you that moving around or server hopping doesn't seem to help, it's bull, I got both of mine server hopping so I'll tell you my strat. I don't claim it's the best, maybe I just got lucky, all the same. I would start doing the round of the three spots where he can spawn every few hours and then I would do one last quick round after 4am (btw doing the rounds without a Arduanatt is hell so try to do it with one) and then quickly switch to another server (well assuming he hadn't spawned, and he never did for me on the first server I was on but that's probably just bad luck). On the second server i would do the rounds as soon as I got there. Then again at 5. Then again at 6. Now if the llama is still nowhere to be fund if you hopped server right after 4, some time after 6 you should have time to hop server one last time though by the time you get on the third server you won't have much time left so I hope you know how to do the rounds with a ardu fast (I'd show you the best way but that would require a video, you'll figure it out). The first time I got the llama it was on the third server and it was around 6:36. The second time was on the second server so it was around 4 something. Both times I found him on the high peak spot.

Keep in mind I did this 4 ingame nights a day for 5 days which means out of 24 nights I looked for the llama I got him twice (the first time around night 1cool2.gif. I can't tell you if this is a normal average, but I'm letting you know because of course if you can only do a night or two a day (because you're not a degenerate that spends all his time in bdo like me...) that would take you two to three weeks if you're as lucky as I was.

Anyway, good luck with the hunt. This is undoubtedly cancer content but if you persevere you should get it.
