It was just another drunken day spent, as Jordine sought comfort from Roxanne. Ever since hearing the news of his real father's passing, Jordine looked as if he was struck by lightning and spent most of his days just gazing out with vacant eyes. After Jordine's adoptive father Edward had his eyes gouged, the Rhundi Family was never the same again. Even his blood brother Alfonso Rhundi, who was as much the philanderer as Jordine himself, spent countless days just staring out into empty space.

Not long after, the two left their home and enlisted in the army.
