The bond between the Dark Knight Ataraxia and the Elionian Priestess Doslia began with a prayer to God.

In an alleyway of the Calpheon slums, Doslia shed tears while praying to Elion, the God of Light, and the existence of Elion as God was something Ataraxia could not understand. The Goddess Sylvia was her everything before adventuring with the Black Spirit exposed her to the world outside of Kamasylvia. Those on the Golden Road of Light pilgrimage supposedly served Elion, yet demanded donations. They said those without money couldn't even offer up a prayer. Though she could not understand with her heart, she sought to with her mind as she donated all of her Silver to Doslia which she collected wandering place to place while trying to regain her lost memories. She felt content, as Doslia's journey felt rather similar to her own...

...At Brellin Farm near Star's End, in northwestern Calpheon, she realized the true purpose of the Golden Road of Light. She resented her past self for having sent her money to them. As soon as she had the map of the Arid Land in her hands, she headed for the closest port. Although she was pursuing a personal mission completely unrelated to the Obsidian Ashes', it didn't matter. She didn't have time to waste.
