The wanderings of the Ahib gambler Helonne, who once pledged her life for Viorencia in the capital city of O'draxxia, began the day the Sephir rebelled against the Queen.

As corrupt Turasil seeds burst in the capital's center and the keepers of the queen's commandments went berserk, Helonne grew suspicious. She desired to know more about a force capable of polluting the power of the holy, pure mother. Of the master behind the ancient darkness. And yet, those who shared the secret of the ancient darkness were directly affiliated to the Queen: the Verti, Audrites, and the Thornwood Watch.

Why they didn't reveal all their secrets, was there truly a god greater than mother? Her suspicious piled on until, one day, she left the capital with her human slave, Kacina. She discovered that the master of the ancient darkness was known as the God of Radiant Light from the mouths of the Shadow Knights. Yet as the Shadow Knights came to follow the Sephir, Helonne was unable to abandon her slave and had no choice but to stop. Her wanderings would continue until she uncovered the truth.
