– Crafting Materials
- Cereals
- Mineral Water
- Sugar
- Leavening Agent

– Crafting Result
- Beer
- Cold Draft Beer

NOTE: In the Black Desert the craft is heavily affected by your skill level. At higher skill levels you can use less materials and get more products.

For all recipes/designs you can use the general substitution rules:
- 1 ingredient of green grade can be replaced by 2-3 white grade ingredients and vice versa.
- 1 ingredient of blue grade can be replaced by 3-5 white grade ingredients and vice versa.
- 1 fresh fish can be replaced by 2 dried fishes and vice versa.

1x Special (Wheat/Corn etc)
6x Any Water (Destilled, Mineral etc)
2x L.Agent
1x Sugar

Also works very nicely.
(tested with Cooking Skilled 5)

Is this 100% afk-able or is there a chance to fail?

0
Anonymous 17-03-2017 06:43

I haven't seen it to fail yet and I've made a few hundred with it so far afking.

Why would anyone in his/her right mind use this recipe?
It's is 5 times more expensive than using 5x white cereals and 6x Mineral Water instead of special cereal and 3x Purified Water.

2k vs 10k silver according to current market.

Because if you're a crafter, you dont buy ur ingredients on the market, duh.. you make them yourself, which, like special wheat, is not too difficult and definitely worth it if your figures are true. What would be the point of crafting if you just buy the ingredients??

Shorting the recipe by even one grain results in a not-insignificant fail rate even at Pro 10, so not really worth the trouble considering how easy it is to get grains.

Artisan 1
using 4 wheat and it's working but not everytime ( it fail at an average of 1 time every 10 try so still worth it if not afk )

Skilled 9, Cooking Utensil.
5 Corn, 3 Purified Water, 1 sugar, 2 Leveraging Agent
queued 39, failed at 3 left, because I ran out of leaving agent :P but so far 100% success rate.

Update:
Just tried it 264 continuous production with 100% success so far.
Though I ran out of corn so started using wheat.

Can anyone give me a guide on substituting water-based things? Do they also have colours?
Help, I havent learned much about water in-game apart from river and distilled...

Tried using 5 mineral water instead of 6 at Skilled 5 and it was failing.

0
Spielkind 2-03-2018 22:24

Thats, why it say 6 ;) and the water is one of the very cheap ingridients ;)

I know. I was just testing it and posting my results in case anybody was curious. I was not surprised by this.

Spielkind 7-03-2018 22:11

But then we could test everything that dont work and post it :P
IF it work, its good to share it ;)

Because it saves time for those who don't want to have to test everything. Especially useful for figuring out when a recipe will start to work at a certain skill level.
