+1 Start from 0 failstacks.
+2 Start from 7 failstacks.
+3 Start from 24 failstacks.

I enhanced it with a +7 fail stacks, to get the item to +1.
To level up the gear incase you dont know how, its like how you level up the accessaries

You can get a +1 with 0 failstacks, with blackstones being so valuable, just risk them, hardly see over 5 failstacks to get a +1 and frequently get them at 0 failstacks (I'm an altaholic and most of my 14 toons have one of each). Usually +10 is safe-ish to make a +2, haven't gone higher yet but friends say 25+ for +3.

I found this to be ok,
+1 costume i will smash at +0 get about 30-40 of them
+2 costume i will smash at +17 push it to +20
+3 costume i will smash at 26-30
+4 costume i will smash at 40-44
+5 costume i will smash at 60-70

But i actually do this...
5FS +1, if it goes to 10FS, go for plus +2, if it goes to +15 Buy 20 Advice for Valks and save it.
20FS for +3.
But i havent gotten any further than that as of yet.

By some reason, the data in the client always has 100% for +1 enhancing for any gear.
Looks like the game modifies that value somehow on the fly.

for any gear? I see this just for silver embroidered clothes, which is kinda misleading. It may not be your fault, but just saying....

Almost for any. All accessories had it, for example, but I've made a special fix to show the correct values. Looks like costumes will need it as well.
