No clue why yours would be different, but on EU, I can confirm the recipe works.

The recipe stated in this page and Tayelle's recipe works because the system will consume any excess ingredients.
So Tayelle is using this recipe but is wasting ingredients by placing more than needed.

Confirming the recipe components:

1x Monk's Branch
1x Trace of Ascension
1x Clear Liquid Reagent
2x Fox Blood

(I was apprentice 1 in Alchemy at that moment.)

Weasel blood can be substituted for Fox Blood in this recipe, ran 40 with no fails.
@ Skilled 3, not certain if that's relevant.

All the alchemy "blood" recipes follow the same pattern.
1x "rare item": Spirit's Leaf, Monk's Branch
1x "alchemy reagent": Pure Powder Reagent, Clear Liquid Reagent
1x "powder/trace"
2x "blood"

So for this recipe, it would be 1 Monk's Branch, 1 Clear Liquid Reagent, 1 Trace of Ascension, and 2 "Blood 3" (as previously stated by others)

I have not been able to get the recipe to be successful with 2 Fox Blood. I can use 1,1,1,2 with Raccoon blood but with fox blood it only works with 5. I am Artisan 6 so it's not a skill issue.

Can you no longer use a 'blood type'?

At professional 8, using 2 fox blood fails for me 100% of the time. With 2 weasel blood, works every time. am on NA.
