The sturdy branch is just outside the house next to rocks and a Thuja tree. Option 3 worked for me.

先去隔壁屋子有一个“怪异的石像”，跟它对话后，去找坚硬的树枝。树枝在屋子里火盆正南方向的窗子里出来直线走就是，在一个侧柏树旁边。拿到树枝后再跟石像对话，选第三个答案，“压在底下翘起来”，需要30能量。
