Show/hide full quest's text Actually, we have already been to the ancient shrine. Queek! We could not get the treasure though. Queek. One of my crew touched the treasure and lost his life. I am not the most fluent in the language of the Ancients, but I gathered that to get the treasure, I would need the completed map. We didn't have any luck with the Golden Treasure Chest either. Queek... Devastated, we hastily turned around and started sailing aimlessly. That is how we ended up shipwrecked. If you have the complete map though, you might be able to take the treasure home. Queek! You should go! We can all vouch that the treasure is real, and is waiting for you. If you have both the complete map and a pure gold key, you might be able to take all the treasure home. Queek! I knew you were good, but this is really impressive! I bet that in no time, everybody will be talking about your amazing deed! Queek! If you plan to keep on exploring the seas, you will definitely need a good boat, Queek! Otherwise, if you encounter the Goldmont pirates, man, you will be doomed. Queek! The Vell and Cox pirates are not so formidable these days, but the Goldmont pirates are still going strong. Rumor has it that they have been expanding their territory across the Margoria. The soldiers stationed by the coasts are keeping their eyes on them, but who knows how the tides will turn... | |

The quest location is way below the marked pillar, you need to dive a lot more and enter the big entrance where you'll see the treasure chest

In 2023 you have to dive down where the laterns are found under Quilla's Eye and the chest will be there.

If you have completed the map before accepting the quest, talk to Katio 3 times to get 3 more map pieces and assemble it again.
