Leave Trent by the North entrance, after you pass the huge overturned tree lieing on rocks across the path

above is correct if you leave by the gate, might be more than one way in, it's a bit back off the road to the right. You have to click on the hot spot in the middle of the floor to get the knowledge the one by the wall does not give it.

Very wrong info here.
The correct location is on the LEFT side.
Check the map and set autopath to where it says : Lv 49-51 Treant Forest.
It will take you across a small bridge and there are a couple of huts there.
You can interact with the knowledge right away in the big hut.
