I, Brolina Ornette, child of the Sun, do swear upon the paradise of Narc, ancient spirit of the Moon's land. I shall dethrone Amelia Ornette, the mad queen who has forsaken her sacred oath to Kamasylve. She did conspire with Ibedor, vile serpent of Hadum, to devour Mother's light and shroud the world in shadow. With the serpent's venom, she murdered the noble leaders of this forest, then laid her sin upon the innocent Polly Spirits. Thus were the spirits who had guarded this land since time immemorial driven from the woods, and our Moon-born sisters turned against us.

What seems like an eternity of emptiness on the page, continues once more.

I, Viorencia Odore, child of the Moon, do swear here upon the paradise of Narc, ancient spirit of this land. I shall lift the veil from my sisters' eyes, that they may look beyond old grudges and face the darkness drawing near. I shall free the Dawn from Sephir's venomous fangs and restore Kamasylve's light before it is too late. And for our sisters of the Sun, still held in the tyrant's grasp, I shall become a lord of terror and gladly bear the scorn of the world.
