I have a rumor regarding their mysterious disappearance.
There are creatures here known as Murky Swamp Callers.
If you end up encountering one while lost,
if you're really lucky, you'll leave the ruins with your life intact,
or, if you're really unlucky, you will wander the ruins, lost forever.
I've yet to find substantial evidence to back up such claims,
but don't you think it worth trying to save those missing people by dealing with these creatures?

How did such civilians
end up wandering so deep in the woods here...

It's good to see you return safe and unharmed, adventurer.
I was somewhat worried that I had sent you to your deathbed.
There's still no word regarding the missing people,
