В награде два вида слитка 10G, которые даже в инвентаре не стакаются. Если не сдаётся квест - уберите из инвентаря все слитки 10G и попробуйте снова.

im getting an error when i try to turn in the quest. anyone else?

Start with new character and make quests only from ghost, until you get to skill trainer in Velia, then return to take quest "I care about you" and it will work. I had the same situation like you.
