Of the many abyssal pockets connected with the Magnus, there is one known as the "Scarlet Thread."
Unlike the other pockets, it appears to be one without a special purpose, other than to spin the Threads of Fate of those beings in the world beyond the well.
However, the threads here often easily get tangled and snap. All because of some black cat donning a red collar who traverses the abyssal pockets... cats are known for spinning yarns, and this one loves entering this pocket to play with the thread.
A fifteen hundred year old record mentions that this abyssal cat is at the root of all relationship problems, such as old friends suddenly becoming sworn enemies, or sworn enemies becoming inseparable lovers.
