So far my best method of amity increase with him is as follows (except when it requires you to fail, then don't even try at that point)

when everything succeeds you should get about 220 accumulated favor level and about 120 at the end of all 3 sessions.

I don't know why, but it is possible to successfully complete a conversation 1 time using "Keep Talking", but when I choose this option to riddle a second time, it always ends up with zero points even if I had the option to end the conversation with 100+ Amity before.
