Chapter 8: The Night Draws to a Close

The battle began in the dead of night, and the dawn was now approaching. The deposed prince fell once again at the hands of the traveler. And the Tiger Palace Relic slipped from the prince's grasp.

"It cannot end like this...! Mother! I must avenge the sorrow of my mother's blood soaked... death!"

Had he finally been defeated? Seungsan went to pick up the fallen relic to heal Mongryong. Yet the relic formed a barrier and began recovering the dissipated black energy.

Bong purified their counterpart Hwang, trapped inside Tiger Palace Relic and returned to Mt. Ahshi. In the process, Mongryong's poisoning symptoms disappeared. Deprived of the energy of Dark Bonghwang, the deposed prince turned to ashes, scattering in the wind. The traveler, having exhausted all their strength, collapsed in relief. The bright morning will dawn again.
