Chapter 6: Steeling the Heart

With Yeonhwa's self-sacrifice purifying Bonghwang, she passed away, leaving the crown prince in a state of despair.

"My beloved family keeps leaving me. Mother, Father, and now even my Aunt!!"

Though Mongryong and Seungsan tried to console him, the crown prince couldn't contain his sorrow. It was then that the traveler stepped in.

"Pull yourself together!"
"Traveler! How dare you lay a hand on the royal visage!! What madness—"
"Act like the king you are destined to be."

The traveler, in place of Yeonhwa, helped the crown prince regain his composure. Fortunately, the wise prince understood the traveler's words.

At that moment, the purified Bonghwang finally appeared before them.

"Fear not. I am Bong, the guardian who has watched over this land for eons."

He promised to help purify his companion tainted by Oduksini. However, he reminded them that Human affairs must be resolved by Humans themselves. Just then, Mihyun, who had been guarding Dolswe's place of exile, arrived. She reported that someone had tried to approach the exile site to seal her.

It seemed the Centipede Market had fully grasped their identities and was making its move. The group decided to return to Seoul to devise a strategy for the final confrontation.
