Chapter 11: How to Purify the Poison

The story of Janghwa and Hongryeon was truly heartbreaking, but they couldn't just stand by and let the two sisters spread poison. The traveler and Dolswe decided to exterminate the sisters who had become yogwes. And then, they heard another truth from Hwadam.

The name of the twin sisters' mother was Jung Jeongin. She was Hwadam's cousin. During the tyrant's era, when it seemed the Jung family might be implicated in treason, Jung Jeongin, who was already pregnant, was quickly married off to Bae Muryong. It was a strategy to make her part of the Bae family and avoid the king's blade. Moreover, Bae Muryong and Jung Jeongin were already dating before their wedding. So, Janghwa and Hongryeon were indeed the legitimate children of Bae Muryong, but Bae Muryong, perhaps due to his inferiority complex, always doubted Jung Jeongin.

Hwadam left, saying he had somewhere to go, taking Dolswe with him. In the meantime, he asked the traveler to stop Janghwa and Hongryeon.

Thus began the traveler's fierce battle. The sisters' deep-seated grudge made it incredibly difficult. Eventually, under the traveler's relentless attack, the sisters began to falter. Just as they were about to regroup and start fighting again...
