I have a problem when I activate the mission and I go to look for the kamasilvya branch, it does not let me obtain the branch which makes it impossible for me to complete the mission

Had the same problem. Only characters that have finished the main kama questline can interact with the branch. The quest being account bound makes things confusing.

Dialogue to interact with to get the branch is not in the middle of the tree, but rather in the ring immediately around it

You need to interact with the Kamasilva branch, not with the center of the site
