Show/hide full quest's text Did Catherine succeed? Of course! She plucked up her courage even though she was small and weak, unlike you! How could she possibly do that? Well, at first, she tried to simply steal it, but after she was nearly eaten by the Griffon, she examined the beasts from afar for a very long time! Then, it was the day when the summer waves began to sweep over the spring sea. She never gave up until the last moment, and a miracle happened! The Griffon herds often engage in turf wars, but they never make lethal blows, meaning, they don't kill their own kind! But on the night when an unusually red moon rose above,
one Griffon leader of a herd got all riled up, got into a fight, and got itself killed! The herd cried for days and days by their leader's body, but when the body started to rot, they started to lose interest and went back to their dwellings!
That moment, Catherine took her last courage to weather through the rotten guts and maggots, and was able to get the shell that was still intact. What, is scavenging a dead corpse easy for you? Look! Do you think the princess who's been served by her handmaids in the palace all her life, and you who is used to the stench of death are the same?! For her, it was like facing death! It took incredible courage for her to do what she did!
Did Catherine succeed? Of course! She plucked up her courage even though she was small and weak, unlike you!
I guess Kamasylve's Light is of utmost importance to the Ganelle after all. It's really touching how she didn't give up until the summer came. Hehe. |
