This recipe and probably many other of these stone recipes are wrong.
First of all you wont need and cant use 2 of the same stone types, you can use any green stones, you need 2 overall.
Second, I tried it with apprentice 6 and it didn't work. You'll probably need at least skilled for these recipes

Thanks for the report. We are currently looking into this problem. Have to fix all such recipes.
