The quest autopath takes you directly to the piece where you get the bautt lithograph remains, but to get the giant's lightstone powder is a bit more annoying 
Once you get an item from both, you make an L shape in your inventory (auto-arrange off) with the 2 items as well as the Bauttan's statement (it has to be certain ones in certain places)!
After combining the pieces, you're able to turn the quest in

The problem is that I found both locations and I interact with both and nothing I don't get any of the items... press R and nothing just a dialogue...
In sum, these tips are incomplete, there are several location randomized where u can get the both pieces and not just in these 2 locations, u need to check them out where u can "examine" the location, the final part of the assembling its correct.

The powder goes up, in the bottom is the lithograph and in right next to the lithograph goes the statement. This is the L shape.

Ony my alts I start with one piece and you just need to grab the middle and south one, then combine in L.
