Ferrica (male) and Ferrina (female) are one of the most treasured animals of the Ganelle. If you wish to hunt them, you have to do it without the Ganelle's knowledge. Their herds seem to always lack females. No matter how hard you look, some herds seem to have no more than a single female. There are myths that say the females are hunted often, hence in order to stay safe, their bodies are small.

..As expected, if a Ferrina is attacked, Ferricas come rushing to protect her. On the other hand, Ferrina does not seem to particularly care if a Ferrica is being attacked. The Ferrica and Ferrina are much more ferocious than they appear. They do not attack Ganelle or humans unprovoked, but they are as hard to Hunt as some of Calpheon's toughest Game.
