Why are these knowledge unobtainable? Why are they on the game to begin with if we're not able to get them

Before it was removed, altar of blood was a 3 man group content, which consisted of killing waves of mobs, while defending the altar in the center of the room. The content was used once for an event, and not long after it was removed. However the knowledge remains in the game, but it's unfortunately impossible to get them. People who did this content still have them tho
