- Description: For ages, the Hashashin have guarded the doors of Alyaelli from the shadows at the world's edge. To us, the Doors marked sacred ground to defend and served as the bolt that held back the abyss. When it seemed darkness was all that awaited us, our only ray of hope was the Blackstar of salvation. The Blackstar would descend and lead all who had bled to paradise. Such was the legend and the prophecy. Then, fourteen years ago, astonishing news reached us from one of our spies stationed in Calpheon. In the far west, a colossal black stone had been discovered, and Calpheon's priests called it the Blackstar. Word spread quickly. Some believed salvation had begun, while others wept, certain Aal had abandoned us. Yet no miracle came to deliver us, and our unending battle against the monsters carried on as before. Even after three more years had passed, the Blackstar neither led us to paradise nor cast us into ruin. As the silence dragged on, one by one, our brothers lost hope and abandoned the sanctuary. Among them was Prince Kayal, who walked away despite being next in line to become Qabal.
