"In the year 235, the Black Death arrived. In Donghae Province, the catastrophe was prevented through Haeshin's sacrifice, and in Hwanghae Province, through Bonghwang's sacrifice, but half of the population perished. For a time, it was impossible to distinguish whether this place was a world of the living or the dead. With so many ghosts and spirits wandering the earth, some individuals emerged, willing to sacrifice themselves to restore order. They called themselves Jwado School and forsook inner cultivation. Their intent was to accept the consequences in the next life. Thus, the beginning of Jwado School was solemn and noble."
