While heading to Vahmalkea to build Atoraxxion, the fortress built to repel the black spirits, Vaha ended up crossing a line.
What drove him to this point was his own ambition to make all things perfect. The three companions who joined him on the same path were not friends, nor lovers. They were his competition. Even his own master was an obstacle he needed overcome.
And so, while staying in some ruins, he decided to build some Kyvelan Guard Towers. He soon found himself changing his destination from Atoraxxion to the original location that had inspired Vahmalkea. His ultimate goal had changed.
What was it that he encountered in Vahmalkea that led him to fear? Whatever it was, he knew that he must become stronger than whatever it was that he had faced there. To do so, he needed to test his capabilities.

Thus, he offered himself up to the activation of the Kyvelan Guard Tower. However, Vaha was not as brilliant as he personally thought. And like that, he disappeared like a pile of sand.
