It is believed that increased volcanic activity around the Gavinya Volcano Zone melted sulfur within the volcano, which fused with the dormant ancient golem and awakened it. Once a guardian of the region, its will has been corrupted by the poisonous sulfur caked across its body, driving it to attack intruders.
