カラスの巣は濃い霧で囲まれている上、その頂上がくぼんでいるため、多くの物語が作られた。

中でも最もよく知られているのは、海竜の巣で、元々この島は火山島であり、頂上の噴火口を海竜が塞いだという話だ。何の役にも立たず、やせているように見えるが、海の上の人々は、たびたびこの島の頂上から真っ黒な煙が立ちのぼるのを見たことがあるという。それを証明するかのように、いたるところに日焼けした岩や所々の生えた草をちらほら見かけることができる。

Directly in the center of the island. You can see the quest NPCs on the right of your minimap. Look for shady mist in a sunken area at very top of mountain.

If you found Ancient Gaudian Slate, there is a crater on your east, just go down into the center of it. As mentioned on other comments it is on the center of the island, out in the open (not inside).
